Playing with Wordle

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

I have been playing with this today but once you do it the only glitch is that you can’t directly copy and save the photo of your own final product ( which is a nice big one) onto your blog unless you make a link like the one I have done here.
The image that ends up on the blog is really too small. Also the copyright of your final image remains with the creator of Wordle which is not entirely fair.

There are more complicated ways of capturing the original big image but I have not worked all the steps out yet. These are a couple of samples I did. When you go on the wordle webpage you can save your completed wordle under any user name or just put anonymous.

These ones are under the name Siempre if you want to view them on the wordle webpage at
