World Cup Football

The opening ceremonies have passed and England have had their first dire performance prefaced by the usual hype of mega high expectations.

Did I watch it ,,,, yes, of course !!

Archbishop Desmond Tutu is a swell and his appearance at the opening ceremony raised a smile. remnding us that Africa was the cradle of all human civilisation he said . " We are all Africans. "

Here's the great man himself..............................

Of course my team Ireland are not playing as they were cheated on by France so my interests are not that high.

For me Spain or The Netherlands are looking pretty good and then there is Germany , ah yes............ always Germany.

Now the dream is replaced with a more down to earth realisation of England' s chances of winning this cup.....

What is needed is a bit of divine intervention .............
