BBC New Nativity Drama in Four Parts


Starting tonight on BBC 1  at 7pm. 
Each episode lasts half an hour, revealing the "gritty "human story behind the biblical events.

  1. Mary counts her blessings when her parents arrange to marry her to a local carpenter.
  2. Episode 2 Mary is visited by the Angel Gabriel, and she learns she will bear the son of God.
  3. Episode 3
    Joseph cannot accept Mary's explanation for her pregnancy, and her neighbours turn on her.
  4. Episode 4
    As Mary goes into labour, Joseph must find somewhere for her to give birth.

    Saw the first episode : Quite good but nothing spectacular.

    I think living the mystery is far better !
