Vatican News Service Closed For August

I was a bit perplexed when I saw this notice this afternoon:

VATICAN CITY, 29 JUL 2011 (VIS) - We remind our readers that the Vatican Information Service will remain closed during the entire month of August. Service will resume on Thursday 1 September.

Oh well, I guess it's down to poor old Rocco Palmer and the rest of us Catholic bloggers to keep the ball rolling until then. :-))

Now what can we get up to ?.......................
