Is it a co-incidence or is there a trend for the church to make more use of celebrities willing to talk openly about their faith these days ?- see previous post on Frank Skinner and the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Dermot O'Leary, 38-year-old Big Brother stalwart, Saturday afternoon Radio 2 DJ and presenter of ITV's The X Factor is also in his own words "the poster boy" for a campaign by the Catholic development agency, CAFOD.
