Forgiveness and 9-11
"Even all these years later, the wound is still raw, and the preferred question for many would be, “Lord, if someone or some group, causes destruction and death to my loved ones, my fellow citizens, in my backyard, why do I even need to forgive once?”

Rodriguez' son was killed in the World Trade Centre attacks on September 11, 2001;
el-Wafi's son Zacarias Moussaoui was convicted of a role in those attacks and is serving a life sentence. In hoping to find peace, these two mothers have come to understand and respect one another.
