Art by He Qi and music by William Elliott Whitmore
Love the art, music is nice but I am not entirely sure about what the message of this song is intended to be. There is a statement at the end which rings true, but if the singer of the song is meant to be Christ ,the song seems to suggest that we are on our own and that the risen Christ is not with us here and now.
Maybe I'm not hearing it right.
Or is this song instead, just a snapshot of what the disciples were ruminating on in the immediate aftermath of his death as they tried to rely on their memories of what Jesus had taught them before he died.
Is the song just the beginning ; meeting us in that interim period before they actually do see Christ in the flesh to know that He is alive .
What do you think ?
