I don't think I have featured a piece of lute music on this blog before, so I thought this might be as good a time as any to post one. It's a galliard - a form of Renaissance dance and music popular all over Europe in the 16th century.
“The important thing is to recognize that our gift, no matter
what the size, is indeed something given us, for which we can take no
credit, but which we may humbly serve, and, in serving, learn more
wholeness, and be offered wondrous newness.”
Madeleine L’Engle Walking On Water
Hope you enjoy it.
