Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh,

Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers
at the time of the Babylonian exile.

After the Babylonian exile,

REFLECTIONS

Jesse Tree- Image source and explanation here

The Jesse Tree represents the family tree, or genealogy of Jesus Christ. It tells the story of God's salvation plan from creation and throughout the Old Testament, to the coming of the Messiah. Starting with Jesse, father of King David, the Jesse Tree is based on the prophecy from Isaiah 11:1 “A shoot will spring forth from the stump of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots.”

Andrew Peterson sings his truncated version of Matthew's Begat's without running out of breath.

As a bonus here are four more reflections below from Ron Rolheiser.
