Don Justo and an Act of Love

I am finding it hard to blog at the moment. The magic of the summer and being oustside has left me in a soporific mood and lethargy over writing has set in.

However I do have something for you ....

This simple story is about a former Cistercian monk,Justo Gallego who has spent 50 years building a Cathedral - of his own design, by his own hands (almost!) in Mejorado del Campo near Madridas - an act of faith and devotion.

The story is told in moving shots of the old man, walking through his creation. What a poignant testimony to the human heart and soul! The video is a beautifully atmospheric film with no dialogue or voice over.....
