Everyday God

Well, another week almost comes to an end.

This hymn/prayer and video below is a beautiful one to take us all into the weekend.

It reminds me of these hopeful words from Fr.Robert Barron S.J. :

that we all "may share this enduring belief, that “the Word of God — the mind by which the whole universe came to be — did not remain sequestered in heaven but rather entered into this ordinary world of bodies, this grubby arena of history, this compromised and tear-stained human condition of ours.”

Thanks to everyone who has visited my blog this week.
Your support means a great deal to me, more than words can say.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

I hope you'll pray with me this prayer by Blessed Cardinal John Henry Cardinal Newman (1801-1890)

May He support us all the day long, till the shades lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in His mercy may He give us a safe lodging, and a holy rest and peace at the last.
