Sunday 31st Ordinary Time More Reflections

An interesting "compilation sermon" for this Sunday 31st Ordinary Time from here taken from The Association for Catholic Priests who "wish to have a forum, and a voice to reflect, discuss and comment on issues affecting the Irish Church and society today."

The main theme is this :

"Today’s Gospel calls us to examine our conscience about the sincerity of our words and of our lives.

We should rid ourselves of all hypocrisy and respect the truth about ourselves, in God’s sight.

Bishops and others in a leadership role, especially, need to be self-critical, but the potential to be something of a Pharisee (in the negative sense) resides in all of us."
